Hi! I’m Rakhee, a Level 4 Nutritional Coach trained with Future Fit UK. My passion is to improve the health of people using my knowledge and experience in nutrition.
I discovered this passion through my own health journey. Being South Asian, having polycystic ovarian syndrome, gestational diabetes, and my dad’s diagnosis of Type 2 diabetes; I knew this was going to increase my risk of Type 2 Diabetes. This led me to not only change the way I view food but also make positive changes in the way I live. In the pursuit of happiness, health is too often forgotten and only realised after a diagnosis from our health care practitioner.
The modern way of life has become so busy and stressful that we don’t plan our meals and look for quick fixes leading to unwanted consequences. Diabetes, Obesity, Coronary Heart Disease and Cancers can all be prevented by making simple changes to our diet and lifestyle.
With the above modern-day issues that we are facing, I have made it my personal mission to use my training in nutrition and make a positive impact to society.
